Hadley and Gatlin Humphrey shine at Southern Little League

The Athletics are tearing it up this season in Southern Little League's major division, and part of the reason John Iracane's team is enjoying so much success has to do with the sister/brother tandem of Hadley Humphrey and Gatlin Humphrey.

The A's are 10-2 and atop the league standings, with both Humphreys playing major roles.

"They both hit for power, and they're both very strong," said Iracane, who manages the A's. "They're locks to be All-Stars in their respective age divisions -- I don't have to campaign for them.

"The best thing is that they're all-stars beyond just their talent. They're great teammates who hustle all the time and have excellent attitudes. I haven't seen one ounce of bad behavior from them."

Southern Little League will be using a new call notification service this year. The service will allow us to communicate much more effectively with league officials, coaches, and parents.
